Laurie Jordan’s Yawning Yoga is one of the best kids yoga books I have seen. With the cute pictures and poems, the detailed instructions and photos of kids, and the parent oriented practical tools for bedtime routine at the beginning of the book, Yawning Yoga provides the best of all worlds for kids and parents alike. Kids will enjoy the story and movement as much as parents will enjoy reading it to them, connecting with them through movement, and utilizing the sound strategies Laurie provides. A must-have book on the shelf for all households with a budding yogi.

As an infant and toddler sleep consultant, I absolutely understand the importance of a bedtime routine. Bedtime should be a clear transition from the days activities into sleep time and I can’t think of a better way to end the day than with some yoga! I especailly loved saying goodnight to all their body parts. I’m not sure who enjoyed it more - me or them!
